The Senate has resumed Plenary today and Senator Dino Melaye in an interview has stated that the petitions against Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi would be tabled in the house tomorrow for discussion and resolution. He also said that the APC has met and declared their strong support for Rotimi Amaechi whilst the PDP caucus would be meeting today. He however assured Nigerians that Rotimi Amaechi would be screened tomorrow after all caucus meetings and "horse trading" have been concluded.
He also addressed the issue of complaints on the Ministerial nominees that have already been screened and assured Nigerians that the screening of the remaining ministerial nominees would be more thorough and only three nominees would be screened today to allow for thorough screening.
