Flight Attendant Kicks Woman Off American Airlines Plane

A woman was kicked off a flight for no good reason, so her fellow passengers booed the flight attendant responsible for the ugly incident, a witness said.
Bill Byrne was sitting directly behind the woman on the American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Portland, Oregon, on Sunday and secretly filmed the whole thing [see video after the cut], terrified that the vindictive flight attendant would kick him off the flight too.

“He was ready to throw more people off,” Byrne said while describing the dumbfounding episode.
In the video, the unidentified woman can be heard weeping in disbelief as a flight attendant named Tim points her out to one of his colleagues, who then orders her off the flight.
“He was so mean to me!” the passenger says through tears, “I didn’t even do anything.”

Unfortunately, the woman’s pleas fell on deaf ears, so she got out of her seat and made her way into the aisle. While the woman apologized to the flight attendants, her fellow passengers voiced their displeasure with what had just gone down. “This is the worst airline,” a woman can be heard saying, while another passenger chimed in with, “You just lost a lot of customers.”
Then the assembled crowd booed the flight attendants as they escorted the woman off the plane.
“It was nuts, and that poor woman was so upset. She handled it well, but you could tell it was super embarrassing for her,” Byrne said.
He added that he did not see why the flight attendant singled out the woman; however, other passengers reported that a miscommunication between flight attendant and passenger might have sparked the confrontation. “I’ve seen people who deserve that, but never actually seen somebody thrown off a plane,” Byrne said.
A spokesperson for American Airlines told The Post, “We are looking into the incident to get a better understanding of what occurred. The passenger was rebooked on the next flight to Portland.”
