According to State House press statement, President Mohammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Mustapha Magu, a former Assistant Commissioner of Police to replace Ibrahim Lamorde as the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. The statement said Mr. Lamorde who got the job in 2011, would proceed on terminal leave ahead of the formal expiration of his tenure next February.
