Breaking News: President Buhari Sacks EFCC Boss Ibrahim Lamorde

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Nigeria, Mr Ibrahim Lamorde, has been removed, a presidential source said. Mr Lamorde was removed on Monday by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He was seen at the Presidential Villa, where he allegedly held a last meeting with the President. No reason has been given for his sack. There are also indications that he may have been replaced, but his successor has not been named.
