Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has appointed retired former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr Christian Akioja Olakpe as the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Habib Aruna, in a statement said that the appointment of Mr Olakpe is in strong response to complaints by the public on the situation of traffic on Lagos roads and for improved performance of the organization.
